Andrew Tarshis joins Tengram Capital Partners as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel

Westport, CT - July 19, 2013 – Tengram Capital Partners LLC ("TCP" or "Tengram"), a private equity firm that invests in leading middle-market consumer companies that own strong, recognizable brands, has appointed Andrew Tarshis as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. Mr. Tarshis will be responsible for legal, administrative, and regulatory matters for the firm's investments as well as its private equity business.

Prior to joining Tengram, Mr. Tarshis was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Iconix Brand Group, Inc., where, for the past 8 years, he was involved in all aspects of the Company's legal and strategic affairs, including M&A, financing, licensing and intellectual property, governance, SEC and other regulatory and compliance matters. Prior to Iconix, Mr. Tarshis served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Windsong Allegiance Group, LLC, former owner of the Joe Boxer and Hathaway brands, and as a corporate attorney for Toys R Us, Inc., specializing in Intellectual Property.
